Is it me or is it getting extremely hard to believe anything anyone says anymore? I don't mean just the people you'd expect to be full of it, like attorneys, politicians and the media. It seems people put more of an effort into covering their ass at the expense of the truth these days, and one needs to be really astute at picking up the negativity, or the ramifications can be annoying as hell. This isn't any kind of rant (you can find whiney rant blogs elsewhere on the internet I'm sure), just an observation. Actually, things are kind of serene leading up to the August 7th launch of Endeavour (ha...spelled it right) and the STS-118 mission. I guess I just tend to hear that Gazoo voice reminding me to "believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear."- - - - - - - - - -
Tonight's Replay Monday menu is a selection of depth and color, Deep Purple. I think Smoke on the Water had to have been one of the most frequently-played songs on the AM static box back in the 1970's, maybe second only to Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ? by Lady Marmalade.
