UPDATE (09 July): Seems several outlets carried this and it generated quite a bit of visitors. Two things: one, to whom do I send the $ 45.00 for all the extra traffic? And two, I've since received a follow-up email from the individual offering an apology, citing poor judgment. I've accepted it. He also offered a free listing in his blogroll; I've declined.

I've happened across several bands and their work, mostly from searches or tips from other blogs. Since I've started this blog, one of the things that surprises me most is how much good music is out there you just don't know about. I can only hope record labels find some of these groups and give them a break, because some of what is labeled and out there just isn't worthy.
