Non-Existent Recordings from Canada is proud to present, 'WhimsicalLifestyle', the professional debut album of Gothenburg, Sweden's
Mojib. This project features 11 meticulously crafted songs, with a
diverse array of musical sounds, combining beautiful pop melodies,
solid, intricate drum patterns, bittersweet piano keys, acoustic
guitars and electronic synths.

From Staffan Ulmert aka Mojib, some wonderfully creative work featuring musical avenues not commonly traveled. We have a beautful sunset here right now, and In A State made it a little more enjoyable.

San Serac is a one-man disco music group performed by Nat Rabb. San Serac’s music combines esoteric philosophical lyrics with electronic music reminiscent of '80s Prince Rogers Nelson, Pet Shop Boys or Cameo. San Serac has released three full-length albums and a 3" CD single on Frog Man Jake Records and a 12" on Output Recordings.
Also very creative and not commonly heard. I think my friends over at Digital Eargasm will like this, too.

Named by NPR as “alternative country’s golden goddess,” southern roots rocker Kelly Willis returns to the forefront of modern country music with her sixth full length studio album, “Translated from Love”.As the follow-up to the acclaimed “Easy” (2002), of which Rolling Stone said, “Kelly Willis’ sweet, burnished voice practically spells heartache... Willis drapes her yearning voice over the tough but funny lyrics...”, “Translated” carries Willis into more sonically adventurous territories, including Parisian-esque accordian and an edgy Iggy Pop cover.

From my buddy Emily at Gun Street Media, who sends me nothing but quality to share with you folks. The sunset's not bad listening to Kelly Willis, either...

I've asked permission to post a second song, Nobody Wants To Go To The Moon Anymore (for obvious reasons). I know sweet, wonderful, kind & generous Emily will say yes...jeez, am I a suckup or what? (Edit: man, that was quick, must be working late tonight! Thanks Emily!)
Enjoy the music...more to come tomorrow.
