The Spill Canvas : No Really, I'm Fine
Featured on this summer’s Warped Tour and one of the 100 Bands To Watch for 2007, according to Alternative Press, The Spill Canvas makes its full-length major-label debut with an alternative pop album produced by Neal Avron (Fall Out Boy, New Found Glory, The Wallflowers, Yellowcard). Thanks to hailed indie albums and constant touring, The Spill Canvas has built a growing fan base that’s about to spill over into the mainstream.--Amazon.com

I had no idea what I was going to pick up for music tonight; actually I wasn't even sure I was going to stop at all as it was monsooning here (again-we've had 31" of rain the past 18 days). But messing with the blog is a decent form of unwinding after a busy work week, so I stopped at CD Connection hoping something would strike me; it did-Mike was mopping the floor and nailed me on the head. He asked if I was injured and needed help, I said "No Really, I'm Fine". When my double-vision cleared, I saw a new release with the same name, so I bought it. And for a band I'd never heard of, they're not bad at all. They seem to be carrying a couple of genre labels, but they soound like a rock band to me.
