Now serving, a hot helping of a musical dish called Company of Thieves. The sultry and provocative vocals come to you courtesy of Genevieve Schatz (thank you for the Tornado Song-it's perfect after the week I had). The hard guitar is served up by Marc Walloch. The musical buffet continues with a bass a la Brad Sawicki. Drumming up dessert is Mike Ortiz. Listen to Under the Umbrella; you'll find it hard to believe this is an unsigned band. Listen to New Letters; you'll still find it hard to believe this is an unsigned band (by the way, I feel this one of the best songs I've heard this year). They released Ordinary Riches on their own; let's hope their next release has a little help from a label willing to believe in them and give them a shot. As were another band we recently highlighted, The Sapiens, Company of Thieves also calls Chicago home. Damn, they've got some great bands up there.mp3:

Superb music and love the guitar work, very easy summer listening music.
