Twilight Dementia (self-titled)

Released last November, Twilight Dementia's self-titled album is classic atmospheric rock that is both compelling and original in its creation. Th Washington, DC-based duo is the haunting vocals of Jennifer Mendiola and the unique guitars, bass, keys, percussions and programming of John Krauss. Influences include Lunascape, Evanescence, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Portishead, and Pink Floyd, and it is certainly evident in their music. A neat fact on the release: the 12 tracks all carry themselves in compilation, lyrics and sound and nothing sounds like a spinoff of the previous track. A perfectly-matched duo that produced an excellent debut album. Hopefully, more to come from them soon!
