"Sticker, Star and Tape" is the third indie single from the fledging Sam Isaac and a more riotious-fist in air pop affiar than previous outings. Each and every Sam Isaac single has seen this independent artists fanbase swell, and the summer has once again seen Sam a fixture at almost every festival from V to Big Chill via Boring By The Sea and Latitude. "Sticker, Star and Tape" is a central anthem to the Sam Isaac world; a place where friends make artwork, do recording, direct music videos and carry clipboards. Perfect strangers sell his CDs, promote shows and join the ranks. Sam's part of the bargain is donning an acoustic guitar and making the music to lead the troops. We've got two cool hypnotic remixes to share (one from James Yuill (Moshi Moshi Records) and one from Rod Thomas) of the title/lead track from the EP.Sam Isaac - mp3: Sticker, Star & Tape

It's autumn - time for new, melancholic songs of Swedish shoegazer Eerie. In his own words:
"This thing, I think, was born out of love. Love of the sheer happiness in defeating your enemies and walk away a little lighter at heart. Love of the people that are close to you, not always in miles but in thought and spirit. And of course the love of drum machines, reverbs and the electric guitar. Preferably combined. There's no marketing strategy. No budgets. Just this. Lend an ear. Please."

You can sample another track from the upcoming release by Florida's own indie-rockers, Copeland, via Spin. You Are My Sunshine is a rich playground of sound unfolding into layers of angelic tenor, driving guitars, experimental backdrops and rousing lyrics (some of which can be found in an elaborate maze the band has recently confused web goers with). The production team of Aaron Sprinkle (Eisley, Anberlin, Pedro the Lion), Copeland vocalist Aaron Marsh, and mixer Michael Brauer (Coldplay, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket) joined forces with Tooth and Nail and the result is a brilliant 11-song collection. Release date is October 14th via Tooth and Nail Records.◊ ◊ ◊ ◊

Shiloe showcase their dark and driving sound on the new EP ...And Now the Screaming Starts, out October 14 on New and Used Records. Shiloe has already caused a stir among some of the most influential tastemakers in LA and beyond with two strong EP's. With the intense anticipation surrounding ...And Now the Screaming Starts, the band is poised for even greater national attention. Formed in 2005 with singer/guitarist Ken Ramos and bassist Melissa Pleckham, Shiloe has earned such praise from maintaining a commitment to releasing music with familiar influences but with a fresh and exciting sound. Ramos grew up on a healthy diet of classic and punk rock, while Pleckham's education was fostered by goth and riot grrrl. "Sometimes I feel like we don't fit in 100% because our music is a little darker and louder than some of the bands that play a lot around town," Ramos says. Despite the differences, the band has shared the stage with some of LA's top acts including The Henry Clay People, Gliss, and the Human Value. …And Now the Screaming Starts finds the band coming into their prime. The production is more refined, the songwriting is stronger, and as Amanda Allgood of CMJ puts it, "Their musicianship is anything but timid." The EP's first single - "Gone" – is pure haunting post-punk, recalling Echo and the Bunnymen; the perfect song for a late night LA drive.Shiloe - mp3:
