The Incredible Brandi Carlile
This is Brandi Carlile, a Seattle, Washington, artist whose music can be classified under a bunch of genres: pop, folk, indie, rock, alt country. The category doesn't really matter, she's got to be one of the most from-the-heart singers I've ever heard. She had some of her music featured on a commercial during the recent Beijing Olympics, but since I didn't watch as much as a nanosecond of the Olympics I never saw or heard it. If her music doesn't get to you, have someone check you for a pulse.
