Music this good deserves to be mentioned again. The debut EP from Poughkeepsie, New York's Paper The Operator is a rare combination of loud guitars, unlimited energy and perfect harmonies and melodies. Each track is accentuated at the right moment to highlight the strengths of the band, and the shared Words You Never Learned is a perfect example. The debut EP from the band, consisting of Jon Sebastian (vocals, bass), Greg Fulton (drums), Nick Cucci (guitar, vocals), Chris Fasulo (guitar), was originally released back in May, and fans of everything in between indie-rock and guitar rock should have this in their collection. Jon Sebastian also shares his versatility as part of the husband-and-wife duo The Color Wheels and their debut self-titled release from 2007 is also an excellent EP with an entirely different sound. Another of the fine artists signed to the Viper Bite label.
